Job Description

We are searching for a Sales Director to lead our Hispanic Markets from Mexico, who will drive our LinkedIn Talent Solutions business to new heights and lead our independent and high performing teams. You'll be the voice of our brand in the market and a beacon for our culture and values. Developing and executing on strategies within multiple regions whilst maintaining closeness to the client and customer will be key to delivering successfully within role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evolve in-country strategy and exceed targets through a focus on operational discipline, rigorous execution, decisive prioritisation, and cross-functional partnership
  • Set a clear vision, articulating the strategic direction and growth strategy for the business and identifying the key enablers for success.
  • Lead the performance and development of the Hispanic LATAM Talent Solutions team, while setting ambitious targets for growth at scale within the region
  • Inspire the team to adopt new methods, approaches and ways of working which will drive a step change in business performance. Foster creativity, innovation, transparency and trust
  • Drive sales performance through the adoption of strategic sales processes and pipeline management. Build consultative selling and solution selling skills within the team
  • Maintain deep understanding of client business and continually serve as a client advocate with the customer being central to all decisions - lead from the front as Executive Business Sponsor for key client accounts in the region, personally originating and closing new business opportunities and building enduring client relationships
  • Deliver ongoing growth through new client acquisition, new business models and the identification of new market opportunities
  • Build the reputation and brand of the business by thoughtfully engaging in relevant industry events. Act as a thought leader for the Hispanic Latam market
  • Maintain collaborative cross functional partnerships to drive efficiencies and mutual outcomes
  • Proactively seek out opportunities for personal and professional growth and invest in making the company stronger for the future, through coaching and mentoring of high performers in the team.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:
    • 15+ years in sales leadership positions, having lead teams in Hispanic Latam countries
    • 5+ years leading and developing leaders
    • 5+ years consistently delivering on high-growth revenue targets
    • Business fluency in Spanish and English

      Additional Information

      Preferred Qualifications:

      Demonstrated track record/ability to demonstrate the following:
      • Having lead sales teams in Mexico, a strong preference
      • Consultative and/or Solution Selling expertise within the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry
      • Demonstrated ability to originate, shape and close complex business in a competitive sales environment
      • A track record of continuous professional development of self and others
      • Ability to drive cultural change in an organisation with clearly defined culture and values. A change agent who can create an atmosphere of effective adaptation and versatility to bring out the best in people during times of uncertainty
      • Experience leading sales leaders in consistently meeting and exceeding revenue goals
      • Business process re-engineering experience with a bias towards continuous improvement
      • Expertise in the understanding and application of relevant sales methodologies
      • Strong oral/written communication, presentation skills, conflict resolution and negotiating skills
      • Knowledge of subscription-based business sales models
      • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level enterprise business
      • Exposure working in a fast-paced, start-up type environment
      • Excellent client management skills with a history of strong client relationships, client advocacy and driving mutually successful outcomes
      • Strong product and competitor awareness
