• Responsible for scheduling production orders, sequencing those orders for most efficient use of equipment and manpower
• Provides leadership for all production personnel
• Partner with Lab personnel, ensure the quality of our products meets published standards.
• Responsible for all plant production employees reporting to this position.
• Use SAP Business One to maintain raw material inventory, create and close production orders, and utilize queries when needed.
• Work with Project Manager on various building, equipment, and process improvements.
• Direct Maintenance department on preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Handle claims to suppliers for non-conforming product.
• Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
• Ensure safety policy and procedures are followed. Assist the GM with safety training.
• Make staffing recommendations to the General Manager.
• Ensure production employees receive annual performance reviews
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but not required
  • 4+ Years of leadership experience
  • Proven ability to lead and build a team
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Be able to both take direction and give direction.
  • Be able to use Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Willing to step in and help in areas needed
  • Develop and train employees for positions of more responsibility.
  • Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment.
