inventory management, maintaining accurate product costs and
correct stock levels at all facilities. Also responsible for
communicating product changes across the organization as well as
removing and identifying obsolete products.RESPONSIBILITIES BY
COMPENTENCY:Business Results Orientation--- Evaluate and balance
inventory levels, customer's expectations, sales demands, cost
changes and other variables effectively to ensure profitable,
timely, accurate inventory for all Wallis Lubricant locations---
Utilize and maintain the operating system to maximize inventory
management--- Perform analytical research of turns of inventory to
capture proper order methods--- Evaluate continuously process
improvement--- Ensure proper safety procedures are being
practiced--- Maintain regular attendance and follow designated
safety practices--- Perform other duties not listed as
requiredCommunication--- Establish and maintain value added
relationship with suppliers--- Acts as primary contact for sales
and customer support in regards to inventory and costs---
Communicate product changes and pricing changes throughout the
organization--- Keep supervisor informed of opportunities and
progress toward process improvements--- Communicate and drive
strategies from the Balance Score Card--- Communicate product
updates and outages to sales and customer serviceCustomer Service
Orientation--- Ensure correct stock levels to ensure customers
service levels are achieved--- Schedule and prioritize purchases
and inbound freight based on demand Ensure products are meeting
quality standards--- Handle all internal and external customer
phone calls in a professional and respectful mannerDeveloping
Talent--- Ensure performance appraisal system is executed according
to company standards and coaching is ongoing throughout the year---
Works as a team member to help improve individual, departmental and
organizational performance--- Provide experience, skills and
expertise as needed to direct report, co-workers and other
division--- Attend training to further professional development and
understanding of company goals and strategy--- Contact Human
Resources for advice or assistance in hiring, counseling,
appraising or terminating as necessary--- Complete Safety training
as requiredTechnical Expertise--- Analyze information and
utilize--- Excel in a manner that promotes organizational
efficiency--- Analyze and track performance goals to maximize
resources--- Maintain knowledge of and benchmarks off industry
data--- Develop and maintain familiarity with all current EPA and
state regulated environmental requirements--- Adhere to all Wallis
Companies safety policies and report all safety incidents to
supervisor immediatelySUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESDirect: Warehouse
Quality Specialist and Warehouse Assistant.--- Carries out
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's
policies and applicable laws.--- Responsibilities include planning,
assigning and directing work; managing training and certifications;
appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees up to
and including termination with supervisor's approval; addressing
complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are

diploma.Preferred: Associate degreeExperience:Over 3 years up to
and including 5 years in warehouse/inventory experience.Language
Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in a
manner that is sufficient and effective communication with groups
of managers, clients, customers and the general public.(may be
representative but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated
with the position)Skills and Abilities:Requires considerable
independent analysis and judgment to effectively balance a number
of constantly changing variables in regular and unusual
circumstances and to determine appropriate actions to be taken.
Purchasing duties require thorough knowledge inventory management
and ability to use Excel. Excellent communication skills and
judgment; detail oriented; ability to work well with others and
under pressure; flexible availability for work. *Must be proficient
