Jones is seeking a highly skilled individual to be a part of
developing the firm's Measurement Center of Excellence within the
Finance Division. Responsibilities include supporting the
definition of performance reporting to assess the firm's progress
against its strategy on a monthly and quarterly basis, assessing
key drivers of performance and identifying and developing new
metrics and analysis needed to improve the firm's performance and
supporting firm communication on the firm's progress towards its
goals and key measures. This position will collaborate with key
functional partners such as Finance, Client and Branch Insights and
Experience, Firm Analytics, People Analytics, Change and
Communications as well as Business Segment leaders.
- Supports team members in the design, development,
implementation, and publication of the firm's purpose impact
measurement framework.
- Performs analysis to inform actionable insights based on
findings from quantitative and/or qualitative data.
- Supports collaboration with functional partners to prepare,
create and conceptualize reporting and dashboards to support
analysis of prior and current monthly/quarterly measures for
trends, observations, inconsistencies.
- Suggests improvements to data and metric requirements and
translates the value of existing metrics into functional user
stories and quantifies the value/impact of new measures for
prioritization.
- Frequent verbal & written presentation of analysis, as well as
presentation of firm performance information and analytical
insights to senior & executive Firm leaders.
- Develop and manage business relationships with senior leaders
across the organization
- Leverages measures to inform and educate other business areas
as to the impact of decisions, as well as identifying measurement
and reporting needs
- Develop and lead the next generation of measurement thinking
and methods to drive advancement in the team's and firm's
measurement capabilities.
- Support the measurement COE roadmap by understanding best
practices outside the firm and assessing the firm's current
capabilities.
- Educate business partners on analytical concepts and best
practices used to enable the work.
- Takes constructive action with specific guidance or direction
from others.Education
- Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or
Data Science
- Relevant work experience will be considered
- MBA or advanced degree or certification is preferred
- 4+ years work experience
Depth of Knowledge
- Consulting, Business Intelligence and/or Analytics experience
is preferred.
- Financial Services industry experience is a plus.
Functional/Technical Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, reporting and
forecasting and robust and action driven analysisSkill conducting
trend analysis, forecasting, and data modeling. Ability to
understand and identify opportunities to apply the different types
of statistics and advanced analytical concepts.Demonstrated ability
to conduct research regarding industry benchmarks and best
practices. Ability to execute multiple tasks and adjust to changing
priorities.Ability to identify critical tasks, sequence work,
prioritize, identify dependencies and decisions needed to achieve
an end deliverable. Works effectively both independently and in a
team environment.Ability to communicate complex ideas to team
members and business partners using verbal, written, and
presentation skills.A proficiency using visualization software
(Tableau) is a plusExperience with data analysis software and
advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required including
working ability to utilize pivot tables, advanced charting,
advanced formulas, and conditional formatting Industry and best
practice research skills mustProject management experience
preferred.

role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills,
