Division Overview Hubbell Construction & Energy (HCE) focuses on products to support four business segments: Connectors, Grounding & Tooling, Gas Connectors & Accessories, Harsh & Hazardous, and Distribution. Duties and Responsibilities Perform and document product audits to determine compliance with drawings, specifications, process procedures, and routings. Calibrate and repair dimensional gauges and various electronic devices. Use metrology equipment such as micrometers, calipers, surface plate, height gauges, fillet weld gauges, and other advanced measurement techniques in the assessment of material and product quality. Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and routings. Must be able to write and communicate effectively in formal reports. Must be familiar with creating purchase requisitions. Additional Responsibilities: Responsible for objectively comparing, measuring, or testing the product or process to a known standard. Standards may include blueprints, routers, and/or engineering specifications. Non- conforming parts are to be placed on hold for disposition. Skills and Experience High School graduate, or preferred technical degree. Basic computer skills including, but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Working knowledge of SAP, Statistical Sampling, Welding and Material Standards, and ISO Standards. Physical strength to safely lift 15-20 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
