Our Head Start Childcare Center needs caring aides to make a positive impact in children's lives. Help the teachers. Work with children 3 to 5 years old to develop their social skills, improve sensory motor skills, engage them in learning experiences like water play, cultural food activities, and expressing big feelings through art. Also help in the baby room.Job Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Prefer experience working with low-income families and children.Full-time, 10 hours shifts Tuesday through Friday. $12 per hour, excellent health insurance, meals provided, generous paid time off including paid sick leave, paid vacation, two paid weeks for winter break, one paid week for spring break, paid holidays, and opportunities for advancement. • Support staff with teaching children the skills necessary to succeed
• Help create a physical learning environment that reflects developmental needs of children
• Help create consistent routines to support smooth classroom operations
• Assist with implementing daily curriculum
• Assist nutrition staff in serving meals and snacks
• Assist with nutrition activities of the classroom
