will:
- Set-up and operate MIG welding machines, adjust machine and
wire feed as required.
- Normally welding on 16 gauge to 10 gauge mild steel, attaching
accessories and fittings or seam welding on parts.
- Work from layout marks, simple drawings.
- Use scale, square and power tools.
- Assemble and tack weld repetitive jobs, finish weld, tack
welded assemblies, usually in down and or vertical position.
- Operate grinder to clean and shape weld.
- Conduct visual and dimensional check of own work.
- Support WEG's 5S program in an effort to maintain work area,
equipment and supplies in a neat, organized manner.
- Notify supervisor of material shortages or other concerns.
- Work safely in required PPE to manufacture a high-quality

status.Requirements:Basic:
- Prior welding experience.
- Able to work over-time as needed.
- Ability to work evening or night shift.
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend common
vocabulary.
- Must be able to calculate basic math, including fractions,
decimals and percentages.
- Must be able to read, interpret and work from blueprints,
sketches, wiring diagrams, plans, layouts and/or templates.
- Ability to successfully pass a Welding Assessment to WEG
Transformers USA (WTU) standards.
- Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington
MO.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent
basis; visa sponsorship is not available for these
positions.Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Participation in Future Farmers of America (FFA) or 4-H Welding
projects / programs.
- Completion of Welding Trade school and/or Apprenticeship
program.
- Two years of prior manufacturing experience.
