Job Description:

The Family Support Provider will develop a support system for parents of children with serious emotional disorders.Responsibilities Include:Assist and coach family to increase their knowledge and awareness of the child's needsAttend meetings and trainings as requiredAssist the family in building helpful relationships with child and family team membersLink family with support groups and other community resourcesProvide helpful materials such as videos, books, articles or Internet addressProvide moral support during crisis and other critical periodsAssist family with preparations for meetingsParticipate in other activities as defined by the treatment team and familyAppropriately submit required documentation; progress notes completed collaboratively, within 24 hoursParticipate in the develop individualized service plans that wrap services around the family needsWork collaboratively with the IHS and is given direction by the CPRC Youth SupervisorOther duties as assignedHigh School/GED requiredQUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust be a family member with a child who has been or currently has a behavioral or emotional disorderMissouri resident for at least two (2) years requiredMust complete and pass the FSP Relias training and DBH FSP trainingCompass Health Network is a nonprofit health care organization offering accessible, comprehensive, & compassionate behavioral health, substance use treatment, family medicine and dental services throughout Missouri.
