Due to rapid expansion in all of our clinics, we are offering a $1500 sign-on bonus for Community Support Specialist positions; $2,000 sign-on bonus for Qualified Mental Health Professionals. We are eager to be able to continue to serve clients in our service areas and need you to make this happen!The Community Support Specialist at the Crisis Stabilization Center is responsible for engaging consumers into services, assisting them in accessing needed services and resources to achieve and maintain health and recovery.CHN team members enjoy a collaborative team environment, and competitive benefits, including quarterly performance incentives.Evenings M-F, Rotating SaturdaysResponsibilitiesProvide individual assistance to consumers in accessing needed mental health and medical servicesProvide individuals assistance to consumers in accessing a variety of public services including financial and housing, including assistance on an emergency basis and directly helping to meet needs for food, shelter and clothingAssist consumers to access and utilize a variety of community agencies to acquire ongoing social, educational, vocational and health and housing resourcesTraining, coaching and supporting in daily living skills, including housekeeping, cooking, personal grooming, accessing transportation, keeping a budget, paying bills and maintaining an independent residenceFollow up with consumers regarding appointments, completion of forms, returning forms or receipts and other similar activitiesAssist client with transportation as clinically indicated; Driving is an essential function of this positionQUALIFICATION(S): EDUCATIONHigh School/GED requiredAssociate's/Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field preferredQUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSAt least four (4) years of experience OR a combination of higher education and experience required if a High School/GED is the highest education obtainedAt least two (2) years of experience OR a combination of higher education and experience required if an Associate's degree is the highest education obtained(*If the degree is an Associate's of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support from an approved institution; then no additional experience is required)At least one (1) year of experience required if a non-human service Bachelor's degree is the highest education obtainedAll experience must include working with individuals with psychiatric, substance use, and/or developmental disabilitiesA valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage requiredCompass Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and an E-Verify participant.
