As an Benefit Account Executive, the focus of this position is to manage an assigned book of business in all aspects of client services to develop strong working relationships with both clients and carriers. Responsibilities

Manage or direct client accounts/relationships to ensure retention and growth of book of business. Provide technical support to Sales Executives, specifically in analyzing client needs, coverages and quotes. Coordinates and direct client services within the client service team.Provide expertise through the Stewardship process while contributing information and ideas during strategy meetings by delivering creative and practical solutions, insuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines. Research market trends, develops strategies and negotiates favorable arrangement and relationships. Develop and Execute new and renewal insurance programs, including negotiating, results, analysis, vendor results, proposal preparation and presentation. Maintain client files accurately and consistently; responsible for proper documentation of files and proper communication to all in accordance with company work-flows, procedures and best practices. Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems.Generate Client Service Plan and coordinate with team to meet assigned deadlines Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must possess the abilities or aptitude to perform each duty proficiently. 7 years experience in the insurance industry, specifically in the employee benefits area is requiredDemonstrated professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectivesDemonstrate leadership capabilities by initiating projects, strategic ideas and meetings Execute and fulfillment of timelines and expectations of clientsProficient in the use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software applicationsStrong project management and organizational skillsExcellent customer service skills, with the ability to develop sound relationships with multiple clientsAbility to interact with vendors effectivelyAbility to prioritize responsibilitiesGood working knowledge of financial arrangements and products available to clientsAbility to communicate effectively with clients and fellow employeesAbility to mentor less experienced teammatesAbility to act in a professional mannerSome travel may be required Education Requirements
  • 7+years experience in Employee benefit management or account executive role
