Must-Have: - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - 2 years of
experience required - First-time travelers accepted - Cerner
experience preferred - Floating and every other weekend requirement
Description: The registered nurse in the progressive care unit is
responsible for providing high-quality patient care. Candidates
must be able to work at the assigned location for the full term of
the engagement. Candidates must be able to work the majority of the
assigned shift. The role may require taking call and working
assigned weekends. Candidates must work at least 50 percent of the
holidays that occur during the contract. The patient-to-nurse ratio
is typically 5:1. Key skills required include accessing and
managing ports, blood product administration, and central line
care. The nurse will also manage dysrhythmias and administer
medications following established protocols. Monitoring patients'
vital signs and responding to emergencies as necessary is expected.
Experience with telemetry and managing various medical devices is
preferred. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic and
team-oriented environment. This position plays a crucial role in
ensuring patient safety and comfort during their hospital stay. All
