                • $76,835 - $122,429Job DescriptionSupervise operational, fiscal, and personnel activities of the Logistics Center:
                  • Serve as area content expert and the liaison between departmental staff and clinical departments, clinical units, medical staff, and other professional and non-professional staff for patient admission/transfer and bed assignment, and system downtime.
                  • Confer with physicians, administrative personnel, and other internal and external disciplines/ customers to facilitate the work of the unit related to clinical aspects and related procedures.
                  • Collaborate with departments throughout the MUHC system to provide effective provision of services, and ensure departmental and institutional objectives are being met and quality of services meets the standard of organizational goals.
                  • Manage change, develop procedures, determine the need for and conduct in-service training to improve quality outcomes, and implement/ disseminate information concerning new or revised procedures and policies as part of department quality assurance programs.
                  • Participate in employee hiring, training, and performance management and prioritize staffing schedules and workload based on area business goals
                  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with departmental operations, data collection for reporting, monitoring expenditures to maintain operational cost within the department budget, and communication of area operations status and progress toward departmental and institutional goals to the department manager.
                  • May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.Required Qualifications
                    • Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days. -Five (5) years of RN experience.Preferred Qualifications
                      • Three (3) years of RN experience in ER or critical care environments.
                      • One (1) year of experience in the first-level supervision of nurses, including registered nurses, or one (1) year of experience in the clinical instruction of nurses.
