Monday-Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM No weekends or holidays! Overview: Family Medicine Clinic, located in Cuba, is seeking a Medical Assistant for a fast paced practice that will assist with all aspects of patient care as directed by the practice manager, supervisor and four providers.The Medical Assistant or Clinic LPN will need to room patients, obtain all vitals, able to do phlebotomy, injections/vaccines, POC testing, calling results to patients and phone messages.Preferred Experience: Computer skills and commnication skills Qualifications for LPN:Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Licensure: Requires current LPN license in state of Missouri. Experience: Requires previous experience in patient care.Certifications: AND current IV Certification.Other: Must have excellent communication and good computer skills. Accurate patient vital signs phlebotomy skills perform EKG's perform minor diagnostic CLIA-approved testing for officePreferred Experience: Prefer a minimum of one-year experience in physician practice or patient education. Qualifications for Medical Assistant: Medical Assistant IHigh school diploma or equivalent. Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant programor applicable medical office experience as defined by clinic. Medical Assistant IIHigh school diploma or equivalent. Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred and/or at least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant Medical Assistant IIIHigh school diploma or equivalent.
