Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Provides patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. As Supply Equipment Coordinator (SEC), you are responsible for maintaining supplies, that support patient care and the supplies used in the facility. The SEC is responsible for coordinating Preventive maintains Inspections on all equipment, The SEC is responsible for the care, cleaning and storage of the flexible endoscopes. It is pertinent that you stay current on all high level disinfectants standards, regulations, and manufacture guidelines. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications: * Education : High School Diploma; BSN in Behavioral Science, LPN II * Licensure : Meets the criteria to be eligible for licenser in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri. * Experience : Experience in a positions such as, license practical nurse, lead technician, secretary * Certification/Registration: Licensed Practical Nurse with the State of MO, IV certified, CPR required. Other certification required according to department policy. * Other skills & knowledge: (skills, knowledge, abilities) Ability to work in fast paced area. Able to make independent decisions.
