BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Residential Project Director at BluSky Restoration Contractors,
LLC is a key position that is pivotal to the success of maintaining
and building strong relationships with managed repair programs. -
By meeting BluSky standards for providing prompt responses to
insurance carrier and customer needs, the Program Director
represents the company as a leader in customer service and
contributes to the growth of the company.
Base Compensation Range ($55,000 - $75,000)
Bonus Commission OTE $5,000- $15,000 -

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Activities
- -Communicates with the Program Coordinator (updating start
dates, completion dates, notes in XA, TPA requests) when the
Program Director is not able to do so.
- Communicates with Inside Estimators regarding revisions needing
to be made and questions regarding scopes and estimates.
- -Responds to XactAnalysis/TPA requests and emails SAME DAY
.
- -Daily logs into XactAnalysis, or other program systems as
needed to ensure all buttons are clicked and statuses
updated.
- Sending updated budgets, change orders and supplement
information to inside estimators to update and get to the
appropriate PM.
- -Communicating with PMs on any budget, job cost, change order,
or supplemental items.
Weekly Tasks
- Reviews Xactanalysis and CoreLogic to keep all pending jobs and
all control points updated.
- Ensures appointments are scheduled timely for all assignments
received.
- Works with TPA reviewers to move the approval process forward.
Reply to any estimate revision requests or questions or concerns
within 24hrs.
- -Attends production meetings to discuss all jobs currently in
production to ensure sure job revenue and job progression is
accurate.
- Reviews accounts receivable to look for any payments for
collection or deductibles that should be collected.
- Gathers documentation needed to prepare an estimate for the
insurance company & Owner during inspection.
- Prepares estimates in Xactimate or Symbility for all inspected
jobs as directed by carrier.
- Completes mitigation estimates and "Mica" moisture mapping once
drying equipment is pulled per program guidelines.
- Works with PM to discuss jobs in production and complete any
change orders or supplements needed. Make sure program milestones
program jobs are updated.
- Reviews pending assignments for estimate approvals. -Reviews
Contractor Connection Dashboard to review POMS scores and pending
assignments once per week.
- Communicates with clients to confirm approval and discuss work
auth, process and discuss any questions or concerns virtually or in
person.
- Emails "PC" & "PMs" signed "Work Authorization" along with the
"Final Draft" Estimate and the "Scope & Components" for deductible
invoice to be emailed to client for payment processing.
- Accounts Receivable:
- Ensures approvals of estimate and understand where the money is
coming from.
- -Makes sure approved estimates are up to date in Vista
- When getting work authorization signed, discusses the procedure
and payment expectations.
- -When a job is approaching completion, works with PM to get
insurance checks endorsed or collected during a scheduled final
walkthrough. If paying online, give them the final invoice so they
have everything needed to make that payment.
Business Development
- Ensures all requests and questions from TPA or carrier are
answered timely to facilitate resolution and maintain high POMS
Scores.
- Consistent updating/monitoring of contractor connection
capacity portal.
- Maintains regular contact with adjusters and managers on
assigned claims virtually or in person when possible.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This role has no direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Insurance Restoration Estimating/Xactimate Experience required,
or equal commercial construction estimating experience
- 3+ years of experience in Insurance Restoration Estimating
and/or Commercial Construction Estimating required
- Must have strong construction knowledge
- Must be able to write and establish budgets and
job-costing
- Flexible schedule: some nights and weekends may be required
COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
SYSTEMS & TOOLS
- - Matterport or similar 360-degree camera for scoping and
documenting project
- - HOVER APP for measurement/assisting in scope
creating
- - ITEL NOW APP and mobile ITEL field kit for carpet/product
sample identification
- - SharePoint/ One Drive for file storage
- - Basic inspection tools (laser tape measure, tape measure,
graph paper, note pad, ladder, utility knife, shingle gauge,
moisture meter)
- Xactimate and XactAnalysis for estimating/scope
creation/notes/communication
- CoreLogic & Symbility for estimating scope creation
- Salesforce for opportunity count, presale phase
- Managed repair programs' internal systems such as Contractor
Connections Job Tracker for adjuster/external communication and job
file notation. -
- Thorough understanding of construction and restoration to write
accurate estimates
- Familiar with insurance regulations and qualifications
- Decision making, problem-solving, and documentation skills
required
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
required
- Strong MS Office Suite product knowledge required
- An outgoing, driven, tenacious, team-oriented attitude is a
must!
