Department: Trust Company-Trust InvestmentsDescription: Edward Jones, ranked one of the nation's top employers by Fortune Magazine is seeking a highly skilled individual to serve as a Portfolio Manager within the Edward Jones Trust Company. As a portfolio manager, your responsibilities will include consulting with financial advisors, clients and other professionals to review and assess the needs of the client. You will then identify an asset allocation and construct a portfolio that aligns with the client's goals. You will have ongoing communication with both financial advisors and clients articulating changes and account performance.Key Responsibilities: Provide discretionary management for complex trust and high net worth portfolios.Partner with financial advisors to understand client's needs and enhance the overall client experience.Independently establish an appropriate investment objective, articulate the tailored investment strategy and recommendations, and explain account performance.Utilize all available systems, tools, and resources to efficiently execute on trade and rebalancing decisions.Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and various representatives from other divisions within the organization.Participate in development of presentations for client events, regional meetings, seminars and web conferences.Support branch teams in developing new business by communicating the firm's solutions and value proposition to prospects, in person and through remote delivery.Lead and/or participate in initiatives within the Investments Area, across the Trust Company, and firm-wide that improve our ability to serve our clients and support the firm's mission.What You Need: Bachelor's degree is required. Business-related degree preferredChartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or actively pursuing CFA designation consistent with department policySix+ years financial services experience.
