In a typical branch office, a financial advisor meets with clients and receives branch office support, so they can focus on building deep relationships with clients. Headquarters associates in St. Louis, Tempe and Mississauga provide support and expertise to help U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. We continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.Work closely with the Managed Investments team and Senior Product Leader for developing and executing the firm's product management and strategy for managed investments (eg. mutual funds, ETFs, UITs, 529 plans, donor-advised funds) to ensure branch teams have quality products and support needed to help clients achieve their financial goals. This is an individual contributor role.
Participate in the design and development of innovative Managed Investment products that align with firm advice and guidance in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Gather the data, insights ,and analysis needed to inform product strategy and development.Responsible for Managed Inv. product partner relationships of moderate to significant size, complexity, number or impact in order to:manage and maintain their portfolio of products including influencing recommendations to add / remove / change products or product partners as shape and execute business plans that align with firm strategic directionensure that product literature and wholesaling support is effective (quantity and quality), aligned with key firm messages, and compliant. collaborate on the design and development of integrated platforms, systems, tools and processes that create a better client and branch team experienceresolve moderately complex / broad product partner issues as escalated. regularly interface with product partner peer contacts (Eg. key account managers, product managers, national sales managers, and operational leaders)Serve as a subject matter expert for the Managed Inv. product line for the firm. Includes broad and some advanced knowledge of multiple product partner products, features, benefits, pricing, etc. and their relative positioning in the marketplace. (Managed Investments products include Mutual Funds, ETFs, 529 Plans and UITs.)Develop understanding of rules and potential rule changes in the tax, legal and regulatory environment for the product line.Leads certain additional responsibilities specific to the team or area (Eg. recruiting, training, product partner coordination, wholesaler effectiveness)Participate in broad division, firm, or industry initiatives and events as needed to represent the product line in alignment with firm strategy (Eg. cross-divisional projects, internal committees, product partner events, regional events, industry groups, etc.)Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and effectiveness of the product line while minimizing risk to clients and the firm.Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree required with quantitative discipline preferred (Eg. finance, economics, accounting, math, engineering, actuarial science, etc.).
Series 7, 66 required within 12 months of hire.
Progress toward advanced degree or relevant industry designation(s) preferred (e.g. Managed Investments: CFA, CIMA, CFP, ChFC, CPA, etc).

Years of Experience:
Generally, 7+ years of relevant financial services experience, with Investment Product Management or Portfolio Management experience preferred.

--- Intermediate proficiency with systems and tools such as MS Office, Tableau and databases
