Senior Solutions Program Manager, Solutions (PMO) To get the best candidate experience, please consider applying for a maximum of 3 roles within 12 months to ensure you are not duplicating efforts.Job CategoryProgram/Project ManagementJob Details The Senior Solutions Program Manager of the Solutions Program Management Office will join the Solutions Shared Services team influencing organizational strategy and leading the planning and execution of programs aimed at optimizing the Solutions organization across AMER and worldwide. This person will drive workforce unity and operational excellence by defining, measuring, and improving processes and performance by leading cross-functional initiatives. The role requires an exceptional leader and organizer, one who knows how to lead from principle and respect-based influence; one who brings a mix of experience, domain understanding and judgement. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction and partnership with various leaders within the Solutions group, the Sales group, the Customer Success group and the Tech and Product group. They work closely with executives and key company stakeholders to drive critical programs and activities across the company to realize benefits quicker and at higher value while creating scale and bridging organizational silos


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders, providing strategic insights to help identify opportunities to grow the business, improve customer retention and engagement, provide operations gains, or lead team engagement development initiatives
  • Help align the Solutions organization behind the leadership's vision, charter and priorities across AMER and worldwide and implement programs that support those
  • Execute on strategy. Focus on delivering benefits and realizing the organization's strategic goals. Design, plan, and deliver strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs.
  • Serve as a change agent by stimulating, communicating and institutionalizing business process improvements
  • Partner closely with Sales Strategy & Operations, Business Technology, Finance, HR and other teams to jointly ensure successful operational execution across these supporting functions
  • Conduct regular project reviews with leaders, providing status updates and recommending actions to take
  • Have a strong understanding of Salesforce's Sales & Solutions organizations, and related processes.
  • Partner closely with fellow Solutions and Sales program management teams to lead, assist or have awareness of programs and initiatives that entail collaboration or could be scaled broadly
    You must be able to:
    • Move fluidly from big picture to details in order to deliver complex cross-functional projects, often with tight deadlines. Multi-tasking and quickly pivoting between initiatives will be critical.
    • Have a passion for collaboration: Spend most of their time communicating, collaborating, and coordinating cross-functionally throughout the organization. Serve as strategic coordinators across teams, departments, business units and even geographies.
    • Know the business: Know how to get things done and enable change in the organization. Are respected leaders who understand how the business works and understand Salesforce's business model and the role of the global Solutions organization within the larger Salesforce ecosystem
    • Be a bridge and connector between the Solutions Shared Services team and the Solutions organization, and to the broader Salesforce Ohana
    • Be a strategic thinker, intuitive, focused, driven, organized, insightful and productive
    • Break through communication issues and effectively develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Build trust across the Solutions Ohana and motivate people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships. You are not afraid to be direct, but you strive to act with empathy and integrity.
    • Orchestrate the efforts of cross-functional teams to execute on programs, projects, awareness campaigns and events to ensure all stakeholder alignment
      • Able to manage one or two large projects or a couple of small to medium sized interrelated projects requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management at the program level.
      • Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills and in-depth analytical capabilities.
      • Understand complex concepts, resolve problems and present appropriate business solutions and recommendations; ability to make reasoned, independent decisions objectively. You are analytical and truth seeking.
      • Organize and facilitate project planning, meetings, and presentations. Track milestones and tasks with assigned teams. Identify and remove impediments that block the team's ability to meet project objectives
      • Identify, develop, and roll-out new processes when appropriate, develop new tools to automate or streamline processes

        Specific Knowledge/Skills:
        • Outstanding leadership, prioritization, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation/written)
        • Experience working with teams across multiple departments (cross-functional groups a must)
        • Proven success designing, planning, leading and executing on programs
        • 3+ years Solutions Leadership experience (desired)
        • Knowledge of or direct experience in the Pillar Owner Program (a plus)
        • Finance or operational experience (desired). Analytics background is a plus.
        • Advanced knowledge of common PM tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google docs)
        • Ability to use Org62 and Einstein Analytics Reporting platform
        • Bachelor's Degree (required). Project Management certifications are a plus
