As a member of Baxter's sales team, you'll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. These products are on the front line to help Save and Sustain Lives. Role Description: The US Renal National Accounts Manager is responsible for meeting / exceeding sales and profit goals with assigned Large and Medium Dialysis Organizations (LDO and MDO) This role will work to establish mutually beneficial goals for Baxter and its customers to advance the therapeutic focus on end-stage kidney disease and acute kidney injury. Through Baxter's innovative products and services, this role is expected to develop and fully execute the Renal sales and profitability strategy. This position will ensure that value is created, the customer experience is positive, and growth goals and commitments are established and met on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. The budgeted salary range for this position is $150,000 - 160,000 base + Bonus. This candidate can be located in any major city/by major airport within the western half of the United States.
    • Responsible for account portfolio development, concise pipeline management and execution of sales strategies
    • Achieve results in a matrixed environment to ensure alignment and collaboration across Renal Care and Acute Therapy businesses and directly with our field sales team
    • Ensure positive customer experiences, value creation, patient retention and growth
    • Play a key leadership role in working with the field sales, marketing, medical, operations, finance, legal, and IT teams to ensure Baxter and customer goals are met, enterprise value propositions and strategies are fully developed, implemented, and represented in all accounts.
    • Collaborate closely with field sales leadership to align on tactical execution of priorities
    • Develop strategic account plans and metric driven customer-centric business reviews
    • Implement pricing policies including quantities, terms and conditions of sale
    • Oversee and support the development of customer purchase agreements and manage the negotiation process for all assigned accounts
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, industry associations and other clients
    • Promote the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing experiences and develop into a go-to resource for key stakeholders internally and externally. Qualifications:
      • Demonstrated ability to achieve financial goals and strategic business objectives in a complex, matrixed environment
      • Poses the commitment to take full ownership of financial goals, business objectives and customer strategies
      • Has a working knowledge of the principals of contract construction, assuring clarity and measurability
      • Must have strong strategic planning skills and financial acumen down to the operating income level
      • Success leading multi-year complex sales and contract negotiation processes
      • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and trends
      • Excellent customer orientation and negotiation skills, defined use and command of analytics
      • Ability to organize and coordinate resources
      • 50% travel required, under normal circumstances
      • Strong project management skills needed to lead multiple high-priority campaigns with internal and external stakeholders
      • Strong organization and communication skills needed to ensure that internal teams are informed and aligned across high-priority campaigns with assigned accounts
      • Ability to identify and efficiently utilize Baxter's internal resources - people and tools
