Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring a Lead or Senior Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Ordnance) in Saint Charles, Missouri. Position Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Energetics Systems in support of missile programs - Work with Suppliers to ensure delivery of quality products on schedule - Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups - Verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications - Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. - Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation - Trains others This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. - Lead, Level 5: Typically 14 or more years' related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications - Senior, Level 6: Typically 20 or more years' related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Experience working energetics - Experience working with energetics suppliers Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
