your future with us. The Phantom Works division of Boeing Defense,
Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Air
Vehicle Leader for an advanced weapons development program located
in St. Charles, MO. Phantom Works programs develop complex, highly
integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and

the unthinkable- this role is for you! Position Responsibilities: -
Lead team performing engineering and technical activities in
mechanical & structural engineering, as well as special technology
integration - Responsible for planning, scheduling, execution and
support of 3D design efforts, modeling and engineering release of
detail parts & assemblies and strength analysis of the airframe -
Lead team through design and build of structural test planning and
execution - Coordinate across various engineering disciplines -
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products
and processes - Provide technical management of suppliers -
Responsible for coordination with supplier management - Develop and
maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders and peers -
Execute Boeing Earned Value Management and Management Best Practice
policies and procedures as a Cost Account Manager and set
operational goals - Support configuration control boards and risk,
issue opportunity boards This position is expected to be 100%
onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at
one of the listed location options. This position requires an
active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
(A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24
months is considered active) Ability to obtain and maintain Special
Access Program (SAP) clearance Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): - Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited
course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes
manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics,
mathematics, data science, or computer science - Level 5: 14 years
of working experience with a Bachelor’s OR 12 years with a Masters
OR 9 years with a PhD - Level 6: 20 years of working experience
with a Bachelor’s OR 18 years with a Masters OR 14 years with a PhD
- Experience leading mechanical or structural engineering teams in
a Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) role Typical Education/Experience:
Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced
technical education from an accredited course of study in
engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), computer science, engineering data
science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and
typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience or
non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is
the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level
6: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced
technical education from an accredited course of study in
engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), computer science, engineering data
science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and
typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience or
non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is
the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary pay range Level 5:
$134,300 - $181,700 Summary pay range Level 6: $166,600 - $225,400
