We are currently seeking applicants for an Engineer (Mechanical) in the Engineering Department of our Power Production Division located at the Thomas Hill Energy Center in Clifton Hill, MO.
This Engineer position will be responsible for project engineering work including preparing project scope and plans, along with acquiring and managing third-party engineering services. The Engineer should be able to efficiently work with the other plant departments within Power Production and headquarters to solve problems and accomplish projects. This position interfaces primarily with the supervisor, department members, maintenance superintendent and other internal customers. The position goal is to maintain the assets of the plant to support the achievement of the company's business goals.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of two years related experience. This position is part of a job family and all experience levels will be considered.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding plant operations, project management, and economics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly convey information effectively.
