Summary: The Engineer, based in Kirksville, Missouri, serves Plant Operations and provides support to Global Engineering; The engineer is responsible for supporting troubleshooting activities, project teams, process development, and providing technical expertise in support of and compatible with Hollister's Mission and Vision. Other responsibilities may include implementation of LEAN manufacturing principles and capital projects. Responsibilities:

• Technical Support of production and facility equipment.
• Possess and employ technical competence and troubleshooting abilities to deliver business results.
• Provide input to assure that proper procedures and preventive maintenance schedules are incorporated into the production teams.
• Support internal and external resources to complete projects.
• Identify manufacturing opportunities, develop solutions, and use defined metrics to report progress.
• Prepare justifications for engineering projects.
• Complete process development and testing using DOEs and other relevant techniques.
• Complete product, or subassembly, testing in support of manufacture and product development.
• Introduce new, validated processes to support NPD, R&D, Operations, or other functions.
• Support plant feasibility studies.
• Demonstrate technical and professional competencies with assigned projects.
• Work with suppliers to procure key equipment in support of manufacture and product development.
• Complete process layouts, detailed drawings, or schematics as needed.
• Develop a familiarity with accounting principles, capital and expense planning, cost center reporting, and other tools to understand project performance. Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Frequent movement over a large manufacturing area
  • Work flexible start/stop times across all shifts
