The firm's Branch Real Estate (BRE) department is responsible for
supporting the physical branch office needs through the
coordination of leasing, construction, lease administration, and
maintenance of more than 15,000 branch office locations. BRE
performs these duties in a way to maximize value and minimize
disruptions to our branch teams, allowing them to continue to focus
on the needs of our clients. Our department plays a critical role
in the firm's strategic mission to enhance practice options and
promote FA adoption of new practice models such as multi-FA
branches.
Branch Real Estate has established an analytics and insights team
that is responsible for helping the firm accomplish its strategic
BRE goals by measuring how the firm uses its real estate portfolio
and identifying opportunities to maximize the impact of the firm's
real estate. Our team will deliver critical insights to improve the
performance of the firm's BRE processes and support leaders in
making data-driven decisions about the firm's real estate
portfolio.
What You Will Do
Leverage data using various technologies, languages, and analytical
methods to provide actionable insights that support BRE business
decisions.
Analyze the effectiveness of BRE functions and strategic programs,
and present actionable insights to enhance future efforts using
appropriate statistical methods.
Identify external trends in commercial real estate in key firm
markets and support leaders in using those insights to drive
internal real estate decisions
Provide thought leadership to BRE senior leaders about
opportunities to improve the BRE experience for branch teams and
financial performance of the firm's real estate portfolio
Develop business relationships and partnerships with BRE
stakeholders and cross-functional stakeholders that work alongside
BRE to support various branch practice models.
Create, support, and maintain dashboards that help BRE leaders and
field leaders understand how real estate is being used and what
opportunities exist to improve BRE experience and financial
impact.
Educate other team members, associates, and leaders across the firm
on data and statistical concepts and best practices.
Identify opportunities for BRE to improve the structure and
accessibility of real estate data, and collaborate with the
appropriate digital product teams that can provide solutions.
What You'll Need:
Experience Required:
5-7 years' experience in relevant field
At least 4 years of analytics experience
Commercial real estate experience is strongly preferred
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in business, economics, math,
engineering, or analytics preferred (or relevant work
experience)
Advanced Degree or Certification preferred
Functional Knowledge:
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or
Tableau is strongly preferred
Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and
procedures within a job discipline
Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own job discipline and
broadens capabilities
Proficiency interacting with various database and file storage
systems (Examples: Oracle, Hadoop, NoSQL). Understanding of join
types.
Intermediate experience with data manipulation languages, such as
SQL, required
Understanding of statistical concepts and analytic techniques,
including descriptive statistics, forecasting, economic modeling,
various regression techniques, machine learning, exploratory
analysis, and variance analysis techniques.
Ability to determine if particular analytic problem requires
capabilities that don't reside in the division. Proficiency in
applying descriptive statistics, univariate analysis, forecasting,
economic modeling, and class variance analysis.
Ability to use special statistical software for appropriate use
cases
Ability to perform univariate analytic analytical techniques

or past experience
Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to
accomplish own work
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with
others; is aware of the competition and the factors that
differentiate them in the market

effort needed to ensure overall success of cross-functional
projects. Occasionally lead cross-functional teams responsible for
divisional objectives.

sources of information
Ability to identify the question(s), what data is needed, analyze
and interpret the results to recommend solutions to senior &
executive division leaders for a broad spectrum of business

range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is
